Convivium Music commissioned 20 minute piece, One Foot in Eden Op. 107 from David Matthews for James Gilchrist, tenor, Julius Drake, piano, and the Emperor Quartet

This piece is the focus of the pilot festival of Voice and Verse 2008. It is written as a companion piece to Vaughan Williams On Wenlock Edge in recognition of the 50th anniversary of his death.
